Virtual Summit

The Nursing Times Workforce Virtual Summit will take place on Wednesday 19 November and is free to attend. This online event will offer a flexible and accessible opportunity to explore the key workforce challenges facing nursing and midwifery professionals today.

Taking place online, this event brings together senior leaders, policy experts, and frontline voices to reflect on the impact of ongoing system transformation and the future of the NHS.

Through a series of expert-led sessions, attendees will gain strategic insights into leadership, retention, wellbeing, and workforce culture. The virtual format allows individuals and teams to join from across the UK, making it easier than ever to engage with the discussion and take away practical learning to support their own workforce planning.

Delivering the NHS 10-Year Plan: What Nurses and Patients Need from System-Wide Change

With the publication of the NHS 10-Year Plan setting a renewed direction for health and care in England, this session asks: what do nurses and patients really need from this transformation, and how do we get it right? As system-wide reforms continue to reshape the landscape, from Integrated Care Systems and digital infrastructure to the shift toward community-led, preventative care, we’ll explore how nurses can shape change, redefine roles, and secure the support they need to deliver on this long-term vision.
