10 & 17 November 2021
The Brewery, London

Empowering you to support your workforce

The nursing workforce has been in the spotlight like never before due to the challenge posed by Covid-19 and much has been learnt, tried and adopted.

For the first time, the summit and awards was streamed virtually in 2020 but this event will return to The Brewery in London on Wednesday 17 November 2021. For those of you who will not be able to attend in person, we will also deliver a virtual event to complement the physical event and provide you with the best event experience possible.

The awards bring together the brightest talent in workforce planning and recognises those making a difference in recruitment, staff retention, wellbeing and inclusion. Following a tough year, it has never been more important to recognise the incredible contributions of you and your colleagues.

Following a recording-breaking year for entries, we’re delighted to share the shortlist for the 2021 Nursing Times Workforce Awards with you!

The judges were honoured to read your entries and hear how you rose to the challenge of Covid-19 and beyond. We received almost 200 entries, giving our judges a tough job to whittle these down into our shortlist.

To provide you with options for the best event experience for you, we’re excited to announce the Nursing Times Workforce Summit & Awards will return with a virtual companion event, and our in-person summit and awards.

The virtual companion event – 10 November

For those that can’t travel to events or those who book to attend our in-person event, you’ll have access to our virtual content programme. Featuring in-depth case studies, engaging discussion panels and inspiring keynote sessions, our virtual events will continue to connect nurses responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of the workforce with award winning case studies and initiatives.

The live in-person event – 17 November

New for 2021, our in-person summit will focus on engaging delegates in networking and workshop discussion to share the wealth of experience and knowledge that our delegates bring to our events. Carrying on conversations from the virtual event, our key event themes will explore, recruitment, retention and wellbeing. Delegates will also have the opportunity to watch the final stage of judging for our Best Wellbeing and Staff Engagement Initiative category, judged live at the in-person event before our evening awards crown our workforce winners for 2021.

Don’t miss your chance to book a place that’s right for you. Booking the live in-person event will also give you access to watch the virtual event on demand.
