Developing a nursing and midwifery workforce fit for the future
After a fantastic first year, the Nursing Times Workforce Summit & Awards is returning on Wednesday 25 September 2019 at The Brewery in London.
Highlighting important discussions surrounding nursing staffing issues, the summit will bring together planning expertise and real-life case studies to support the recruitment, retention and development of the future nursing and midwifery workforce.
With unrivalled access to content that draws on expertise from strategic partners and real-life case studies from health and care settings, our speaker programme during the day will challenge and support organisations to attract and retain the best talent.
Showcasing excellence across 14 hotly contended categories, the awards in the evening will highlight and reward innovation in workforce planning and management that will contribute to sustaining a workforce fit for the future.
New for 2019 are three additional awards categories. The Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year and Nurse Manager of the Year categories will aim to recognise those going above and beyond to make nursing an inclusive, supportive environment where employees can grow into the best nurses they can be. Meanwhile, the Best International Recruitment Experience category will recognise an organisation’s strategic approach to improving the recruitment experience for overseas nurses and midwives coming to work in the UK.
The awards are now open – enter by Friday 22 March 2019.
This one-day summit and awards will stimulate discussion, inspire and reward organisations for excellence in supporting the future of the health and care workforce.
