Clare is the Head of Nursing for Urgent and Emergency Care at Darent Valley Hospital. Having completed nurse training at Barts and The London, Clare qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1996. Clare gained many years of experience working in emergency care and since 2009 has held senior nursing positions managing urgent and emergency care in London and Kent. She has written articles for the nursing press on patient safety and recruitment and retention. Clare was part of a team shortlisted for a Nursing Times award in 2019 and a winner at the HSJ awards in 2021.
