Being a palliative care nurse equipped me with the skills I needed to succeed as a CEO. With over four decades of experience and passionate about making a difference I was appointed as the Executive Nurse at Marie Curie where I led the introduction of person-centred practice. An experienced Nursing Director and Florence Nightingale Scholar I have had the opportunity to lead a successful children’s hospice and now semi-retired I run a small charity that brings together health, heritage and wellbeing.
