Hello my name is Jose, I joined Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in August 2021 to work with the Chief Nurse Office as the Associate Chief Nurse, People Transformation and Professional Practice. Trained from the Philippines and started nursing career in the UK since June 2000. My background is Emergency Nursing, Elderly Care and Acute Medicine. I completed my A&E specialist course from the European Institute of Medical Sciences (EIMS) University of Surrey and subsequently obtained Masters in Nursing qualification in Advanced Nursing Practice from City University, London. I spent my career working in different roles from medium to large teaching NHS Trusts including Ashford & St. Peters, Imperial, UCLH, Tower Hamlets PCT, Barts Health and Guys & St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust. I am privileged and humbled working in the NHS and be able to support, lead, and inspire colleagues to deliver the best and safe care for our patients. I am passionate about safe staffing – having the right staff, at the right place and at the right time. Developing and supporting a sustainable high performing workforce to deliver safe, efficient and quality care to patients and service users alike. I am a Fellow member of the CNO England Safer Staffing and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Workforce Planning, Delivery and Assurance.
