Kez has worked in the field of EDI for over 30 years in large politically complex, public-sector organisations. Kez has a wealth of extensive knowledge and experience of developing strategic and operational organisational diversity and inclusion strategies, including policy and practice and it’s implementation. Kez has worked in a range of senior diversity roles with a range of sectors with the public sector, including Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Leeds City Council, University of Bradford and the National Health Service, namely Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust and currently working at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board. During his career, he has received a Master’s in Training and Development and has a research paper published with the Journal of Psychological Issues in Organisational Culture on the effectiveness of drama based training when delivering diversity related training. In addition, Kez has been recognised nationally, regionally, and locally for his demonstrable commitment to the diversity and inclusion agenda across a diverse range of sectors with evidence of measurable and sustainable results. Kez’s passion and energetic commitment and approach to equality, diversity and inclusion coupled with his lived experience has enabled him to influence and change perspectives in the workplace including ensuring diversity and inclusion practice is embedded, advanced, and celebrated.
