"Paulette is a highly experienced, well-respected, dedicated and competent Leader and Management Consultant in the areas of, Health ,Management, leadership and institutional strengthening. Paulette is as a Non-Executive Director, Chair Croydon BME Forum, President Caribbean Nurses & Midwives Association (UK) and Management, Leadership Consultant across the National Health Service and social care working at Local, National and International Systems. Paulette has held several Senior Executive posts, Director of Midwifery and Children Services, Executive Director Nursing, and Director of the Pan London Maternity Service Review. Paulette has spent a great deal of time supporting, mentoring and coaching staff, individuals and managers to reach their full potential. She also uses her experience to influence health and social care policies relating to Black Minority Ethnic groups (BME), as well as highlighting issues of inequalities in health care at the local, national, and international levels. Paulette plays an important role in supporting the community and has a good understanding of the issues and addressing inequalities across the communities we serve. Paulette was the former President of the Jamaica Nursing Association (UK) for 14 years, she is now the President of the Caribbean Nurses and Midwives Association (UK). Paulette is also committee member of the UK Health Sector Group support joint projects with the Jamaica High Commission. Paulette has also worked in America and the African state of Chad assisting its government in developing a road map for maternal and infant services. In 2000 Paulette received silver award for excellence in health care, 2002 Her charitable and Leadership work was recognised by receiving the European Social and Humanitarian award. Paulette was awarded MBE form the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in June 2014 for her work and contribution to Nursing and Charity work. She was also nominee for Nurse of the year by the Jamaican Times UK Community Award, 2014. Paulette worked and led several committee and Diaspora charity groups due to her hard work and commitment she was awarded The Prime Minister’s Medal of Appreciation for Service to Jamaica 2018. In 2022 Paulette received Global Recognition Award By Zenith Global Health. In September 2023 Paulette received two awards from Caribbean Global Awards for Best Health Care Staff Organisation and Excellence in Community Health Services."
