Beatrix started her career as a Nurse and Midwife in Australia. She has since built on this experience in non-clinical roles in Marketing, and AI Project Management. She now combines her background in clinical work and exposure to digital technologies, to drive transformative in healthcare.
Beatrix is currently Programme Manager and Faculty for the NHS Fellowship in Clinical AI — equipping NHS healthcare leaders with the expertise to deploy AI in clinical workflows. It is the first of its kind in the UK and a critical step to bridging the digital workforce gap.
She has been involved with the programme from its inception playing a key role to make it a reality; ensuring the programmes success by aligning objectives with local, regional and national NHS strategies. Beatrix navigates intricate policy decisions and manages a complex spend profile to optimise the programme for national benefit.
Beyond this role, she invests time mentoring future leaders and champions AI fairness and inclusion within digital transformation, ensuring activities prioritise equity in healthcare solutions. She has a particular interest in ‘FemTech’ and digital women’s health.
