Gemma Mitchell is the news and features editor for Nursing Times.

A journalist for 10 years, Gemma has specialised in health journalism for most of her career, covering historic events like the Covid-19 pandemic and the national nursing strikes.

Gemma has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Sussex and is qualified to senior journalist level with the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ).

She joined Nursing Times in 2018.
