Kerri Eilertsen Feeney
Lead Midwife
NHS England Workforce, Training & Education

I am a registered midwife with 20 years’ experience. I work within NHS England Workforce, Education and Training directorate as the Lead Midwife following a national role in Wales as Associate Director for nursing & midwifery workforce transformation.

Joining NHS England offers the opportunity to focus on the education and training for our future Midwives in addition to enhancing the experiences of our existing workforce.

I have held several operational senior leadership roles and have gained significant experience working with organisations to deliver change and improve safety.

I recently led, as part of a team, on the Safe Learning Environment Charter as part of three phases of work, in addition to reviewing the current NQB guidance for safer staffing in maternity.

I bring experience of workforce planning, transformational change, good quality governance, developing education and training and improving safety.
