Dee Sissons is the Chief Executive Officer of Aurora Wellbeing Charity and a Registered Nurse with extensive leadership experience across health, wellbeing and cancer‑support services. Bringing together her clinical background and strategic expertise, Dee leads Aurora’s mission to enhance the health, heritage and wellbeing of local communities, with a particular focus on supporting people affected by cancer. Under her leadership, Aurora delivers holistic, person‑centred services across its centres in Bassetlaw, Doncaster and Mexborough, integrating therapeutic care, recovery support, heritage engagement and community wellbeing programmes. Dee oversees organisational strategy, service innovation, governance and partnership development, strengthening Aurora’s role as a trusted provider of compassionate cancer‑support services.
