Claudia Taylor is a Nurse Consultant in Tracheostomy. She has developed a national role with in her specialist interests of patient safety and staff. Alongside the expected roles of a nurse consultant; clinical expertise, leadership, audit, research, service development and education. Claudia has designed, patented and taken to market clinical products and has incorporated virtual reality into her clinical and educational workings. She is passionate about empowering staff through education, support, exposure to clinical skills and mentorship. Her key priority is to provide an environment where patients, of all ages, receive quality care by the staff with necessary skills, access to equipment and the appropriate support.
