I have been a qualified nurse for two years, beginning my career in Cardiology before progressing to my current role as an Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH). In 2025, I was honoured to receive the Preceptee of the Year award at the Nursing Times Workforce Awards in recognition of my hospital-wide service improvement project, creating ward-specific Student Welcome Booklets to enhance the learning experience for student nurses. The initiative is currently being rolled out across the Trust to provide a consistent, supportive, and high-quality placement experience
