Catherine Gamble, a Royal College of Nursing Fellow, Burdett Nursing Trust Hero, Eileen Skellern laureate, RCN Mental Health Nurse of the Year award winner, and Royal College of Psychiatrists Team winner, was also listed by the Nursing Times as one of 75 nurses who significantly contributed to the NHS at its 75th anniversary event. Her clinical expertise lies in working with families and those with psychosis, which has provided opportunities to teach the approach nationally and internationally; she has held various senior NHS roles in psychiatric services, been the RCN professional lead for mental health, and the Associate Director of Nursing for Education and Research. Catherine is passionate about coproduction and Mental Health Nurses using psychosocial interventions. As a clinical academic, she has published widely and is the 1st editor of Gamble and Brennan Working with Serious Mental Illness: A Manual for Clinical Practice which informs the RCN psychosocial interventions program curriculum
