Alyson has worked as a procurement professional in the NHS for 43 years – 25 of which have been within collaborative working environments. As well as Managing Director of NHS Commercial Solutions, Alyson is part of the senior team at the NHS Workforce Alliance setting the strategic direction and ensuring that the workforce solutions that the Alliance delivers provide best value, clinical quality and compliance to the NHS.

Alyson is firmly convinced of procurement’s critical key role in the delivery of quality clinical assurance and service improvement. She is strong advocate of collaborative procurement at all levels, and the importance of working together to implement the right employment models which can help transform the NHS workforce benefiting front line services and patient care.
