Financial hardship and personal tragedy can affect anyone, including those who dedicate their lives to caring for others. Cavell are a UK charity which exists to ensure that no nurse or midwife faces these challenges alone.

Cavell see beyond the uniform. Every nurse and midwife has a unique story and life circumstances. Whether it’s domestic abuse, homelessness or a cancer diagnosis, the charity provides tailored support and resources to improve financial wellbeing, mental health and empower those seeking help.

Cavell’s support is holistic, swift and confidential and includes a listening ear, practical guidance and resources, signposting and referrals to specialist services, or one-off financial grants.
